The 17th Century Village – Little Woodham in Gosport is open in the spring, summer and autumn months on specific dates.
They are looking for Shop Assistant Volunteers who could help sell tickets and souvenirs in the shop at the entrance to the village. You would need to be polite and welcoming to visitors coming in and be able to work with the general public.

Full training provided and expenses paid for travel.
A DBS check is required for this role as you would be handling money.

About organisation

The 17th Century Village, known also as Little Woodham’ is in Gosport on the edge of the Alver Valley.
The group perform various plays and theatrical productions during the summer months.

Step back in time and meet the villagers of Little Woodham, Gosport from 1642. All dressed in historic period costume, the villagers will involve you in their daily lives at the start of the English Civil War. We offer you an almost unique educational and entertaining experience not to be missed.

Times vary depending upon time of year as the village is open on certain dates during the spring, summer and autumn months of the year – specific dates are:

July: 3rd-9th, 10th and the 31st.
August: 1st to 7th inclusive. 21st (Craft Day) to 29th inclusive.
October: 2nd, 8th and the 9th.
