Want to get active and help some of the most needy and vulnerable in our community? Then join us for our monthly London sock mobbing event.

What is Sock Mobbing?

Sock Mobbing is a grass roots way of people helping the homeless in a direct and inexpensive way and the idea is super simple. Groups meet up with items they plan to handout then walk around in order to meet, spend time with and listen to the homeless people, using the power of socks and conversation to break the ice.

The main aim is to listen, talk and forge meaningful links with the homeless in a completely non-judgemental and agenda-free way. We try to bring a little bit of normality into lives that are anything but normal.

Plan;

18.30 – Meet Up and Network (Venue emailed to you, But will be Central London)

19.00 – Split into groups and head off for about an hour walk around handing out items.

20.00 – Meet back up and give feedback. Then people can either go for a coffee or something to eat or go home.

What to bring?

NEW Socks (Black or Dark colour) – MENS SIZE 7 – 11 – Sports Direct do 2 packs/ 10 pairs for about £6.

NEW Underwear – MENS – Sizes Medium, Large, XL.
